About project
This is a healthcare product which is providing cutting-edge solutions to healthcare professionals improving breast cancer detection with state-of-the-art neural networks. Our AI helps radiologists read 3D X-Rays (“Tomo”) faster and more accurately.
Your area of responsibility
- Develop and maintain medical imaging applications, with a focus on Breast Tomosynthesis;
- Imaging, Deformable Spatial Registration, and Grayscale Softcopy Presentation State;
- Utilise DICOM processing toolkits, including DCMTK and pydicom, to manipulate and analyse medical images;
- Design, develop, and test Windows Desktop Applications in C# and PySide2, ensuring optimal performance and seamless integration with existing hospital PACS systems;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new features and improvements;
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients as needed;
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in medical imaging technologies to ensure our products remain at the forefront of innovation.
Skills and requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in development experience;
- Proven experience in creating Windows Desktop Applications using .NET and PySide2;
- Strong familiarity with the DICOM standard, including Breast Tomosynthesis Imaging,
- Deformable Spatial Registration, and Grayscale Softcopy Presentation State;
- Hands-on experience with DICOM processing toolkits, such as DCMTK and pydicom;
- BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience);
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Will be a plus
- Experience in the medical imaging field and familiarity with healthcare industry regulatory standards;
- Ability to travel to London.
