Key Responsibility:
The position carries accountability to monitor the health and productivity of the group by managing a range of responsibilities, including delegating agendas to managers and driving profitability through effective management while setting priorities that will ensure long-term business success. Providing the Company Board of Directors with accurate financial information.
  • Develop high-quality business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Lead and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement and develop a high-performing managerial team.
  • Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission.
  • Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits.
  • Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the company’s legality and business ethics.
  • Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
  • Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for important shareholders
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the group.
  • Financial analysis of performance indicators of all ventures entered into by the group.
  • Ensuring robust financial systems, controls and procedures are in place.
  • Enhancing budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Track group’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
  • Developing relationships with external advisors, banks and others.

  • To think ahead and plan where their business is going and how to get there.
  • Having a strong understanding of multiple industries to guide the group throughout the challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate with other executives, managers and the board of directors.
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting & financial principles processes and practices.
  • Superb organizational, project management and process improvement skills.
  • Experience in preparing Management Accounts.
  • Computer literate and highly proficient in the use of MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Leadership skills and experience in encouraging and inspiring others to excel.
  • Attention to detail but also being able to see the “bigger picture”.
  • Excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep understanding of business principles and practices.
Selection Criteria:
  • MBA in business administration or relevant field
  • A BSc in Civil Engineering is preferable, and a construction-engineering background will be considered a plus.
  • Open to any nationality with GCC experience.
  • Having experience in managing group companies, and Family group businesses.
  • Ideal age 40 —50 years.
  • At least 10 to 15 years of relevant Experience in a senior management position, with a minimum of 20 years experience.
  • Being an energetic, dynamic, and enthusiastic leader with demonstrable experience in driving change, leading operations across multiple geographies to growth and better efficiency with a regional experience.
  • Regional Experience is required.
  • Good communication, and interpersonal skills, and with cultural sensitivity.
